Marvin Lee Aday, better known by his stage name Meat Loaf, earned his nickname during childhood. The quirky name stuck and became the legendary artist's public persona as his hard-hitting rock anthems, particularly the 1977 album "Bat Out of Hell," catapulted his career into international stardom.  

After using an online Wu-Tang Clan name generator, actor Donald Glover chose the stage name "Childish Gambino" for his musical career. In addition to thriving as a recording artist, he's known for his role on the TV show "Community" and for creating and starring in the award-winning series "Atlanta." 

FUN FACT

The girlfriend of Three Dog Night singer Danny Hutton suggested the name after reading about the Aboriginal Australian custom of sleeping with one, two, or three dingoes to keep warm during cold nights. Freezing cold nights would warrant embracing three of the wild dogs.

AC/DC is an electrical acronym that stands for “alternating current, direct current”.
