Ringo Starr completes the lineup of the Beatles.

Starr was the last to join, replacing Pete Best in 1962, just months before they became famous. He was also the only Beatle whose stage name was invented. He was born Richard Starkey, and picked "Ringo" for the rings he wore.

These are the planets in order of distance from the Sun, and Mars is fourth.

Mars is the last of the four rocky inner planets. Everything past it, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, is a gas or ice giant.

These are the colors of the rainbow in order — the ROY G. BIV that generations of schoolkids have memorized. And the G means green.

Isaac Newton is the reason there are seven. He could have split the spectrum into five, but he wanted the number to match the seven notes of the musical scale, so he added orange and indigo.

The four suits in a standard deck of playing cards is spades.

The suits used in English-speaking countries are the French design, which spread because the simple shapes were cheap to print. German and Spanish decks use completely different suits — acorns, bells, cups and swords.

Michelangelo is the fourth Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. And they are all named after Italian Renaissance artists.

The creators picked the names almost as a joke while sketching a parody comic in 1983.
