Cracker Barrel unveiled an updated logo in August 2025 as part of an ongoing $700 million brand refresh. However, the new logo sparked a public backlash causing the restaurant chain's value to sink by nearly $100 million. 

Much of the initial uproar focused on the new Cracker Barrel logo doing away with the image of an older gentleman sitting in a wicker chair leaning against a barrel.

One of the United States' fastest-growing retailers is a German grocery chain that displays items in cardboard boxes and makes you deposit a quarter to get a shopping cart.

Aldi plans to open more than 225 U.S. stores this year, bringing its total to around 2,600 locations by the end of 2025. That would make it the third-largest supermarket chain in the U.S. by number of stores, after Walmart and Kroger.

"KPop Demon Hunters" (2025) is now the most-viewed movie on Netflix ever, having racked up 236 million views since its June release. 

The sing-along version of the film released in theaters recently earned $18 million.

And the film’s soundtrack is the first one ever to generate four simultaneous top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot 100 list in the chart’s 67-year history.

Hurricane Katrina, one of the most devastating natural disasters in United States history, first made landfall in New Orleans in August 2005.

The storm killed over 1,400 people and displaced roughly 1 million residents. Hurricane Katrina’s damage to New Orleans was so massive that lawmakers debated whether the city was worth rebuilding. In the end, the federal government spent over $125 billion on recovery efforts.

Twenty years after the beloved sitcom "The Office" premiered on NBC in 2005, its spinoff "The Paper" arrived on the streaming service Peacock. In the new show, the same fictional documentary crew that profiled Dunder Mifflin in Scranton, PA, takes on a struggling newspaper in Toledo, Ohio.
