Venice, Italy is expected to reap a $1.1 billion reward from Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s controversial, star-studded wedding, according to Italy’s Tourism Ministry.

The 200 wedding guests include A-listers Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, and Kim and Khloe Kardashian. And with that comes their entourages and spending.

More than 6,000 soldiers and 128 Army tanks filed through Washington, DC, for the 250th Birthday of the US Army Grand Military Parade and Celebration on June 14th, 2025. 

The parade coincided with the president’s 79th birthday, a detail that irked some critics. A coalition of over 200 groups organized the “No Kings” counter-programming, which featured protests in all 50 states that were attended by an estimated 5 million people.

In September 2024, Sean "Diddy" Combs was charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail three times. As of June 2025, he is detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. His trial began on May 5, 2025.

Combs' stage names have included Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, and Diddy. Didley has never been one of them.

“F1”, a Formula One racing drama starring Brad Pitt, earned an impressive $55.6 million in its domestic opening weekend.

Directed by “Top Gun: Maverick’s” Joseph Kosinski, “F1” follows Pitt as a retired Formula One driver who is convinced to return to the popular motorsport to coach a slick rookie and save a failing team.

Monster.com voluntary filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June.

Monster was one of the biggest companies in the late 1990s and early 2000s dot-com boom. It was so popular that it often bought Super Bowl commercials promoting its services. However, it has fallen out of favor for job hunters with the rise of competitors like Indeed, Glassdoor, and the Microsoft-owned LinkedIn in recent years.
