Droughts reducing the U.S. cattle herd to its smallest size in 75 years and tariffs on imported beef have been blamed for increased prices. The retail price of the cut was up 32% in May from last year, according to the USDA.

The U.S. Justice Department is  investigating four meatpacking giants, which control 85% of the US beef market, over allegations of anti-competitive practices.

Disney is planning to move all of Hulu’s content to Disney+ and decommission the Hulu app by the end of 2026, according to internal documents that were leaked in May.

Disney purchased two-thirds of Hulu when it acquired 21st Century Fox's entertainment assets in 2019 and then later acquired the rest of Hulu in 2025 from Comcast.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that his department has prepared the design for a $250 bill featuring President Donald Trump.

Trump's administration has pushed for congressional approval to issue a $250 note featuring his face. This would make him the first living person since 1866 to appear on paper currency if passed, despite modern federal law strictly prohibiting living people from appearing on U.S. currency.
