While Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker tried their best for NBC’s broadcast of the 99th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, some fans were not impressed with what actually went down in New York City. Social media was abuzz with critics complaining that the broadcast focused too much on commentary and commercials, and barely showed the actual parade.

Perhaps the most powerful and polarizing U.S. Vice President in history, Dick Cheney was considered the architect of the United States' response to 9/11 and the chief strategist of the “war on terror” under President George W. Bush.

His cause of death at 84 was complications of pneumonia and heart disease according to a statement from his family.

Most recently, he starred in “Jurassic World Rebirth” which premiered in July of 2025.

He also stars in "Wicked: For Good" (2025) which is the second installment in the cinematic "Wicked" franchise, following 2024's "Wicked".

Robert Irwin, known for following in his father's footsteps in wildlife conservation, showcased his versatile talents with professional dance partner Witney Carson on Season 34 of "Dancing with the Stars" (2005).

Social media influencer Alix Earle and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy finished in second place.
