The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a loosely defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, noted for a significant number of aircraft and ships said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. 

Directed by Stanley Kubrick and released in 1980, "The Shining" is based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. It is set at the eerie Overlook Hotel and tells the haunting story of Jack Torrance, a writer who slowly goes mad during his stay with his family as the hotel's winter caretaker. 

Blarney Castle is not only known for its stone but also has ghostly legends. Such legends include a young woman who died tragically in the castle's grounds and haunted salmon seen jumping in the nearby Martin River.

Based on a book written by Jay Anson in 1977, "The Amityville Horror" (1979) is set in a haunted Long Island home purchased by the Lutz family. This movie is inspired by a real family's alleged paranormal experiences after moving into a house where a mass murder had occurred. 

Lizzie Borden was accused of murdering her family with an axe, but she was acquitted at her 1892 trial. The home is now a bed-and-breakfast and museum, and you can stay in one of the bedrooms from around $300 per night.
