Hulk Hogan Tribute

Hulk Hogan, one of the most iconic figures in the world of professional wrestling, was born Terry Gene Bollea on August 11, 1953. 

Before his time in the wrestling spotlight, he was a musician and a skilled baseball player.

At WrestleMania III, held at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1987, Hulk Hogan took on the formidable Andre the Giant in one of the most iconic matches in wrestling history. The highlight was when Hogan miraculously body slammed the 520-pound Andre, a moment that was seared into the memories of countless wrestling fans.

"Hogan Knows Best" was a reality TV show that aired for four seasons from 2005 to 2007 on VH1. The series showcased the balance between Hogan's world fame and his family's attempts at living a normal life in Clearwater, Florida.

After the cancellation of "Hogan Knows Best" in 2007, a spin-off entitled "Brooke Knows Best" featuring Brooke Hogan debuted in 2008, and ran for two seasons.

Hulk Hogan's signature finishing move in the wrestling ring is the Running Leg Drop. 

The Running Leg Drop was often the concluding move of many of Hogan's matches, leading him to victory and making it a key element of his character's legacy.

During the "Hulkamania" years, Hulk Hogan was known for tearing his shirt off, wearing iconic yellow and red gear, and waving the American flag to strong patriotic themes.

 However, his entrance music was not Queen's 'We Are the Champions." Instead, it was "Real American" by Rick Derringer that became synonymous with Hulk Hogan's heroic character to his fans.
