In the 1986 film "The Fly," directed by David Cronenberg, Jeff Goldblum plays the role of scientist Seth Brundle who turns into a fly hybrid following a teleportation experiment gone awry. The film is a remake of the 1958 classic and is well-regarded for its groundbreaking special effects and Goldblum's compelling performance as a man-losing himself to his insect pathology.

Mila Kunis began voicing Meg Griffin on the popular animated sitcom "Family Guy" in 1999, when she was just 15 years old. She was brought on to replace the original voice actress, Lacey Chabert, after the show's first season. Despite her career taking off in numerous live-action films, Kunis has continued her role as the teenage outcast Meg Griffin. 

Released in 1995, "Billy Madison" was a pivotal film for Adam Sandler, marking his transition from stand-up comedy and "Saturday Night Live" into a Hollywood comedic actor. Dustin Hoffman stars in the 1997 film "Wag the Dog," a satirical black comedy where he plays Stanley Motss, a Hollywood producer hired to fabricate a convincing fake war to distract the public from a presidential scandal. The film was released just a month before the real-life Monica Lewinsky scandal and prior to the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings in Kenya, making its premise remarkably prescient.
