Jimi Hendrix's version of "All Along the Watchtower" is considered one of the greatest cover songs of all time. Released in 1968 on "Electric Ladyland", his rendition brings a whole new dimension to Bob Dylan's original, thanks to Hendrix's exceptional guitar work and innovative sound.

Bob Dylan, whose original name was Robert Allen Zimmerman, was born on May 24, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota. Zimmerman officially changed his name to Bob Dylan in 1962, taking inspiration from the poet Dylan Thomas. 

Released on the 1963 album "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan", "Blowin' in the Wind" is one of the artist's most enduring and influential songs.

The song poses a series of rhetorical questions about freedom, peace, and war, and has been covered by numerous musical artists, including Peter, Paul and Mary, who helped popularize it. 

"A Complete Unknown" (2024) explores a period in Bob Dylan's career marked by transformation and exploration.

In the film, the singer is portrayed by Timothée Chalamet, who also produced the film.

Penned by Bob Dylan, "Mr. Tambourine Man" was a massive hit single by The Byrds in 1965. Dylan originally recorded it for his 1965 album "Bringing It All Back Home", but it was The Byrds who catapulted the song to fame, topping the charts in the U.S. and the U.K.
