"A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" is set in the same world as "Game of Thrones" and based on the "Tales of Dunk and Egg", a series of prequel novellas by George R.R. Martin. The tales follow the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and a young Aegon V Targaryen (Egg). Set nearly a century before the events of "Game of Thrones", this prequel dives into a rich history long hinted at in the original series. 

Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, during the 1980s, the Netflix sci-fi series "Stranger Things" combines supernatural elements with nostalgic references to the classic horror, science fiction, and pop culture of the decade. The mysterious Hawkins National Laboratory is central to the show's plot, where secret experiments open doors to parallel dimensions, notably the "Upside Down".

The second season of award-winning medical procedural "The Pitt" was released on HBO Max in January 2026. Actor Noah Wyle, who is also one of the executive producers, won a Best Actor Emmy Award for the show's first season in 2025.
