However, one thing MrBeast avoids is profanity since he aims to keep his videos family-friendly and suitable for viewers of all ages.

On May 15, 2025 a Mexican federal bureau announced that it had taken legal action against MrBeast's production company on a video titled “I Explored 2000 Year Old Ancient Temples,” in which he visits Maya archaeological sites such as Chichén Itzá in the state of Yucatán. These sites forbid visitor foot traffic, which is clearly ignored in the video.

MrBeast claims in the video that they were given permission by the appropriate authorities.

MrBeast's actual name is Jimmy Donaldson. He was born on May 7, 1998, in Wichita, Kansas and began his YouTube channel at just 13 years old.

MrBeast launched MrBeast Burger during the pandemic in November 2020. This concept allowed people to order meals online from a variety of menu options, including burgers, fries, and other fast-food items, prepared by "ghost kitchens"—a trend that soared during the pandemic.

MrBeast's first viral moment in 2017 was completing the mind-numbing task of counting to 100,000. 

MrBeast spent over 40 consecutive hours filming himself counting, with only short breaks. The video captivated audiences with its sheer absurdity and scale, helping MrBeast splash into the waters of YouTube fame.
