Many cat owners have observed that cats have an inexplicable love for sitting in cardboard boxes. This behavior is primarily linked to a cat's natural instincts; boxes provide a safe and enclosed space that can help reduce stress and serve as an excellent lookout point for spotting food and catching up on sleep. 

Pete the Cat is a beloved fictional character created by James Dean and Eric Litwin. This easy-going, blue feline first twinkled into children's literature in the book "Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes" published in 2008. Pete's laid-back attitude is often accompanied by delightful songs and simple morals.

The Bengal cat, which is a hybrid of a domestic cat and the small Asian leopard cat, is a striking and active breed known for its distinctive, exotic markings and vivid coat. Bengal cats are completely illegal in Hawaii and Connecticut, and ownership is restricted or illegal in specific cities like New York City and Seattle.

In Stephen King's 1989 horror film adaptation "Pet Sematary", the cat named Church, short for Winston Churchill, is reincarnated after being buried in a mysterious burial ground.

King initially believed that the story was too dark and disturbing to publish, but it ultimately became one of his most popular works.

While a "clowder" describes a group of adult cats, the words "kindle", and the less common "clutter", are collective terms for a litter of kittens.
