In a December 1993 game against the then-Los Angeles Raiders, defensive end Reggie White recovered a fumble, then tossed a lateral to safety LeRoy Butler, who scored a touchdown. After running through the end zone, Butler jumped into the stands, into the arms of welcoming Packers fans, a touchdown celebration now known as the "Lambeau Leap."

From their founding in 1919 up through their first two seasons in the NFL, the Packers played their home games at Hagemeister Park.

After a one-season stopover playing for the New York Jets, Brett Favre riled up the Green Bay faithful when he signed with their NFC North rival, the Minnesota Vikings.

En route to their second straight AFL-NFL Championship Game (now known as Super Bowl II), the Green Bay Packers squared off at Lambeau Field against the Dallas Cowboys in a game commonly referred to as the "Ice Bowl," where the game time temperature was well below zero.

For the final regular season game on January 1, 2012, the Green Bay Packers, having already clinched the AFC North and the No. 1 seed with a 14-1 record, rested quarterback Aaron Rodgers and gave the ball to backup Matt Flynn, making it his only start of the season.

Flynn made the most of the opportunity, throwing for 480 yards and six touchdowns, both of which still stand as Packers records (though Rodgers has tied both).
