The Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles' rivalry with the New York Giants began in 1933 with the founding of the Eagles and slowly strengthened when both teams came to relative prominence in the 1940s and 1950s. The two teams have played in the same division in the NFL every year since 1933.

Super Bowl LII, played February 4, 2018, marked the Philadelphia Eagles' third trip to the big game at the time. They defeated the heavily favored New England Patriots 41-33.

Although the film is based on actual events, including the recruitment of 30-year-old Vince Papale, a bartender who hadn't played football since high school, much of "Invincible" (2006) was embellished for dramatic purposes.

Though Randall Cunningham and Donovan McNabb were each the Eagles' starting QB for ten seasons, McNabb was the far more prolific passer and holds most of the team's career passing records.

With a thirteen-year tenure as head coach, Andy Reid led the team for more than twice as many regular season games (224) and victories (130) than any other coach in the team's history.

Among Eagles coaches who spent at least one year with the team, only Greasy Neale and current coach Nick Sirianni have better winning percentages than Reid.
