Advances in affordable synthetic materials and fast fashion have transformed this industry, but cobblers still hold an essential societal role by helping extend the life of footwear.

Makizushi, Temaki, and Nigiri are all popular types of sushi. Makizushi refers to sushi that is rolled with seaweed, rice, and various fillings, then sliced into pieces. Temaki is a form of hand-rolled sushi shaped into a cone. Nigiri is shaped by hand and typically consists of a piece of raw fish atop a small mound of rice.

Otaku is not a type of sushi. It's a term used to describe people with obsessive interests, particularly in anime and manga.

A perfect score in ten-pin bowling is 300 points, which is achieved by bowling twelve consecutive strikes in a single game, with each strike knocking down all ten pins on the first ball of a frame. This is also known as a "perfect game" or a "three-hundred game".
