Meghan Markle played Rachel Zane in the hit legal drama series "Suits." The show was known for its tight plotlines and witty dialogue.

Markle's work on "Suits" launched her into mainstream fame before she married Prince Harry and became the Duchess of Sussex. She played the role from 2011 until 2018 when she stepped down to undertake her duties with the British royal family.

The "CSI" franchise has multiple spin-offs set in different cities. The original series, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (2000), is set in Las Vegas. It was followed by "CSI: Miami" (2002) and "CSI: NY" (2004) set in Miami and New York respectively. A lesser-known series, "CSI: Cyber," focused on cyber crimes.

Although "Chicago" might seem like a viable location for a forensic series, no "CSI" show has been set there. 

"Criminal Minds" was a popular American police procedural crime drama television series that premiered in 2005 and aired on CBS until 2020. The series follows a group of criminal profilers who work for the FBI as members of its Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), primarily focused on profiling and capturing various criminals through behavioral predictions. Mandy Patinkin played Senior Supervisory Special Agent Jason Gideon in Seasons 1-3. Thomas Gibson portrayed Unit Chief Aaron Hotchner from the beginning of the series until the middle of Season 12. 

The phrase "Ladies and gentlemen: the story you are about to hear is true" is famously associated with "Dragnet," a classic police drama that began as a radio series in 1949 before transitioning to television in the 1950s. Created by and starring Jack Webb as the no-nonsense Sergeant Joe Friday, "Dragnet" set the standard for police procedurals and emphasized realistic and authentic depictions of the daily grind and investigations of police officers.

Mariska Hargitay stars as Captain Olivia Benson in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." She has appeared in the series since its inception in 1999 and has received critical acclaim for her performance, earning her multiple awards including an Emmy and a Golden Globe. Her portrayal of Olivia Benson makes her one of the longest-running characters in the history of primetime television drama.
