Zero Legs, Two Legs, Four Legs, or More

Lions are part of the big cat family, and like most mammals, lions have four legs. These legs are not only powerful for running but also allow lions to leap great distances and deliver strong paw strikes when hunting prey. 

Kangaroos are marsupials and belong to the family Macropodidae, which literally means "big foot". Their powerful hind legs are not only used to help them hop at speeds of up to 44 miles per hour, but also to jump as far as 29.5 feet in a single bound. There are over sixty species of kangaroos and wallabies inhabiting Australia's diverse landscapes.

Voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, Dory is a blue regal tang from Pixar's "Finding Nemo" (2003) and "Finding Dory" (2016) and has no legs, as she is a fish! 

There are many breeds of cows, including Angus, Hereford, and Jersey. The Angus breed, known for its excellent marbling, originates from Scotland. Herefords, with their distinctive white faces, hail from England. Jersey cows, on the other hand, are mainly used for dairy and not beef; they are admired for their rich, high-butterfat milk. 

Insects, including beetles and grasshoppers, are classified under a scientific class called "Insecta" or "Hexapoda". The term "Hexapoda" is derived from Greek, where "hexa" means six and "poda" means feet. As such, whether they are crawling, climbing, or jumping, all insects typically have six legs, which help facilitate their movement and interactions with the environment.
